Consisting of two days and one night camping or accommodation weekend as required, with emphasis placed on practicing and developing the skills gained at our basic course. Special attention will be placed on your safety and care for the tracks and surroundings.

You will be instructed on the different driving techniques required for hilly, rocky, muddy, water crossings and occasionally, snow.  These new skills will be reinforced while touring our magnificent and scenic high country.

The course will revise the basic topics in greater depth, plus map reading, winching, chain fitting, puncture mending, safe wheel change operation, emergency mechanical repairs, chain saw operation, vehicle preparation and camping requirements, as required.
